Pegasus launches Opera II (6.50)



A New Service Management and Helpdesk Module along with enhancements to both Executive Dashboards and Document Management modules boost the functionality of Opera II  
 
Pegasus Software announced it has launched version 6.50 of its market leading Opera II business and accounting solution. 

Opera II 6.50 builds on the success of recently launched modules for Opera II, including Sales Pipeline Management (SPM), SPM Remote, Executive Dashboards and Document Management.  Developed in response to feedback from Pegasus’ channel partners, the new solution will help partners to upsell and win new business.

Opera II 6.50 features a brand new module, Service and Helpdesk Management.  Service Management is designed to provide service companies with the tools to log calls against a company or individual and track them through to resolution.  It provides greater control over service calls and service staff, bringing productivity gains, improved profitability and cost savings.

An extended version of Opera II’s Executive Dashboards module allows users to create their own, personalised dashboard items.  It also provides two new functions to Document Management: content and deferred indexing.  Content indexing enables text from scanned images to be captured, while deferred indexing enables documents to be captured as a batch with a name - without the need for indexing.
