Opera II XRL (Excel Reporting Layer)

Provides enhanced analytical power to assist in the ever complex decision making process. Simplicity itself, XRL wizard assists in importing data which you need into the Microsoft Excel programme.

XRL provides access to the financial information that is held within Opera II, enabling fantastic reporting and presentation functionality. You can populate Excel worksheets directly without data loss.

Written in English it’s now simple to get stock or sales information, then all you have to do is choose the relevant fields and import them. Opera II excel allows Microsoft Excel access to live data at the click of a button, so you don’t have to cut and paste, re-key or enter formula.

XRL allows the user to use Excel’s diverse range of report styles, such as formats and printing options to all business data be it financial, logistical or other modules.

XRL uses headers, details, subtotals and footer section to provide professional reports and allows a diverse range of formats to be applied

• Multiple Opera II database tables can be integrated into a single Excel worksheet.
• Cross-company reporting, and report designer facilities.
• Write back facility for Nominal Ledger budgets, price lists and stock adjustments.
• The Cube Analysis utility allows multi-dimensional reporting and lets users view summary data. It also allows you to identify any business trends or those that might be developing.
• Budget information, stock adjustments and price lists can be adjusted in Excel and then written directly back into Opera II.
• Drill down to individual transactions. So you can see the stock items which make up an invoice.
• Security enhancements which allows for the user to restrict access. You have to log on to the software, which allows the system to check that you have the user rights to do so.
• XRL data is extracted directly from the finance system, eliminating input errors which are commonplace with spreadsheet entry.
• Dynamic write back facility for Nominal Ledger Budgets, price lists and stock adjustments.
• Moving on from previous versions of Pegasus Opera the Data Send now has a progress bar so you know where you are in relation to transfers.
